Marcus Jensen played professional baseball from 1990-2006. Drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 1st Round, Marcus made his major league debut in 1996 and played for seven major league teams and eight organizations during his career.

Throughout his career, Marcus participated in international competitions, including the Pan Am Games and Olympics. In 2000, he helped the United States capture the gold medal at the Summer Games in Sydney, Australia.

Currently a coach in the Oakland A's system, Marcus enjoys writing and had been kind enough to share some of his memories with us
