NEW YORK YANKEES 1955-59: Larsen turned things around after joining the Yankees.  He went 9-2 in 1955 starting and coming out of the bullpen.  He followed it up with another strong season in 1956, going 11-5.  It was in the World Series following that season, however, that he gained immortality pitching a perfect game vs. Brooklyn.  He went 10-4 in '57, 9-6 in '58, and 6-7 in '59 before being dealt to the Kansas City Athletics in the offseason in the trade that brought Roger Maris to New York.

CHICAGO CUBS 1967:  After spending the 1966 season in the minors, Larsen broke back into the bigs with the Cubs in '67.  He appeared in only three games out of the bullpen for the Cubs, posting a 9.00 ERA.

Larsen retired with a 81-91 record and a 3.78 ERA.  Despite those lackluster stats, Larsen is still remembered today for his perfect game in the 1956 World Series.
