************************************************************

#1: 6/17/03, @ Kauffman Stadium (L 7-14) - A 412 foot, solo shot in the 8th off Albie Lopez.

the skinny:  Nearly reaching the fountains in right field, Morneau's first career home run couldn't be contained by Kauffman Stadium. It was reportedly found on the top of Brent Mayne's car in the parking lot outside.

#2: 6/22/03, @ Miller Park (W 8-3) - A 460 foot, solo shot in the 9th off Mike Dejean

the skinny:  Believed to be the longest HR in Miller Park history, the blast hit the scoreboard in center field, knocking a small piece onto the field.  The ball remained lodged in the scoreboard.

#3: 7/04/03, @ Metrodome (W 9-2) - A two run shot in the 1st off Cleveland's Jason Davis

the skinny:  A blast to deep center field, it was the first of several fireworks launched that day. Morneau's first round tripper at the Dome ingited the team as they routed Cleveland and ended a four game losing streak.

#4: 9/25/03, @ Comerica Park (L 4-5) - A 439 foot, two run shot in the 8th off Fernando Rodney.

the skinny:  The longest HR hit in Detroit that season, the blast gave the Twins a 4-3 lead, but Detroit rallied to win the game in the 11th.
